The Grand Prophetic Tahajjud Dua
One of the most comprehensive duas for Tahajjud is:
“Allahumma lakal hamdu anta nurus-samawati wal-ard; walakal hamdu anta qayyimus-samawati wal-ard; walakal hamdu anta rabbus-samawati wal-ard wa man fihinna; antal haqqun wa qawlukal haqqun wa wa’dukal haqqun wa liqa’uka haqqun wal-jannatu haqqun wannaru haqqun was-sa’atu haqqun. (O Allah! All the praises are for you, You are the Light of the heavens and the earth; And all the praises are for You, You are the Keeper of the heavens and the earth, And all the praises are for you, You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is in them; You are the Truth, and Your Word is the truth, and Your Promise is the truth, and Your Meeting is the truth, and Paradise is the truth, and the Hour is the truth. O Allah! I have surrendered to You, and I have believed in You and depend on You, and repented to You, and with Your help I have disputed, and to You I leave the judgment, so forgive me my past and future sins, and what I have done secretly and what I have done openly. You are my God There is none but you).
